Although my photography studio is located in Grand Rapids, MI, I also meet clients around the country for destination sessions (NYC, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami and more!). Kelsey traveled to New York City with her mom and sister for a “girls’ weekend,” and I was lucky enough to share the day with her shooting all around the city. Kelsey started her day with hair and makeup at The Plaza Hotel, which positioned us perfectly for a walk through Central Park to capture unique and iconic images. After a break for dinner, we reconvened in Times Square for a night-time shoot under the big city lights. Thank you for meeting me in NYC for your senior pictures, Kelsey! What a great memory!

My next NYC Destination Sessions are October 19 & 20, 2017! So excited to be going back soon— get details here…

Sammi was a real joy to photograph last summer— she has amazing style and is poised beyond her years. And those eyes! Congratulations on your graduation, and best of luck next year at Grand Valley State University!

Bridget has such a unique style and flair! It was a blast exploring downtown Grand Rapids for your senior pictures! Congratulations on your graduation from Forest Hills Central — I wish you the very best next year at Michigan Tech!

While I typically photograph senior girls, occasionally I have the fun opportunity to work with the guys. Congratulations, Max, on your graduation from Forest Hills Central High School! You’re going to do fantastic next fall in engineering at University of Michigan!

What made this session so much fun was talking about all of the adventures that Tanya has been on and where in the world she has traveled. I know that she’ll have many more adventures ahead especially as she heads off to Nova Southeastern University. Safe travels, my friend!

I have known Mya and her mom, Karry, for more than half of Mya’s life as our girls went to the same preschool and elementary school! Mya, you’ve grown into a beautiful young lady and I know that all who know you and love you are so very proud! Have a blast in Australlia, girl… WOW, what an adventure!

Everything about Amanda’s senior session was bright & sunny— the beach at Holland State Park; a field of sunflowers in full bloom; Amanda’s smile— Michigan summer at its best!

Sam’s session was so packed full of fun ideas for photo locations and props. What made this session a little special is that Sam is a photographer in her own right! It was great sharing tips and encouraging her to “go for it!” Good luck at Western Michigan University, Sam— you’re going to go far! Keep smiling girl, you have a great one!

I had so much fun hearing Cam talk about her dream to go to art school after high school… and… her dream is coming true! She’ll be attending Penny Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan in the fall! So excited for you and for your new adventure, Cam.

I have been blessed to work with many wonderful senior girls, but some are a particular delight. Anna and her mom, Patti, have been dear friends in my life for so many years! In fact, I was at the hospital the first day of Anna’s life and our girls were each other’s very first friends! You are a lovely young woman, Anna, and I’m so very proud of you!

I don’t know that I’ve become friends faster than with Elizabeth and her mom, Susan! What a fantastic session! Elizabeth’s attitude is contagious; possibly one of the most positive people I’ve ever met! God has great plans for your life, Elizabeth and I’m so glad to have been part of the memory making in your senior year!
